FLATTERING VISIONS (PART 2).

TEXT: Ezekiel 12:22-25 (KJV)
22 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?
23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
It amazes me to see how quickly some people are able to roll out one vision after another immediately they see someone they perceive to be in money and other material possessions. If you see a man whose major emphasis is on you being blessed by giving to him be careful, you may be dealing with a man with flattering vision.
If his message is full of threats and doom be careful you may be dealing with a false prophet.

From the word of God in 1 Corinthians 14:3 (AMP) we are made to understand that when someone has a prophecy the message is not to threaten people “
3 But [on the other hand], the one who prophesies [who interprets the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching] speaks to men for their up building and constructive spiritual progress and encouragement and consolation.” If the so called message from God does not line up with these scriptures just disregard it and move on with your life. God is always at work and we don’t need to help him. Just follow the word of the Lord as revealed in the Bible and the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth and who to listen to.  May the word of the Lord multiply abundantly in your heart in Jesus name. FLATTERING VISIONS (PART 1.)

TEXT: Ezekiel 12:22-25 (KJV).

Today we live in a world were flatteries and lies are freely put into use even in the house of God. It is becoming increasingly difficult to trust the words of people. Many are ready to cook up stories just to create an impression and attract attention. This has become necessary as many have become impatient in their struggle for significance and recognition. It is unfortunate that people go as far as lying to make a testimony sound more powerful. People claim to have a vision from the Lord when they know that this is only a figment of their own imagination. Their aim is to whip up the emotions of gullible people that they wish to cunningly extort money from as they tell them what they want to hear. Such cheap visions can only work with people whose hearts are far from God but not with those who are planted in the courts of our God. Like the Lord said to his servant Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 12:24 (AMP)
24 For there shall be no more any false, empty, and fruitless vision or flattering divination in the house of Israel. Stay in the house, the presence of God and you shall not be a victim of such false prophets and their visions. May the Lord deliver us and our loved ones from the dominion of false visions and prophesies in Jesus name. Amen. The Glory Realm Devotional by Rev. Igho Y; the Glorious Fountain Ministries.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION?

TEXT: Philippians 2:2-6 (KJV)
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
It is not easy to find out why people are motivated to do what they do. In carrying out official assignments the loyalty of some is only due to a hidden selfish motive. Their selfish ambition is the only reason they are serious with the work. When they are asked to carry out an assignment on behalf of the office or organization, they are always looking for what they can gain. This is the kind of fellow that finds it difficult to give credit to the organization other individuals. They want to be seen as the one who make things happen. They don’t want you to see the team effort that produced the result. They enjoy taking all the glory. Until we learn to acknowledge the grace and gift of God in others it will be hard to attract true success. A self-cantered fellow will often make use of expression like “Don’t worry, I know what to do...” but a selfless fellow will say “Don’t worry; we will see what we can do.”

A man with an honest heart will be firm to clear the air when he is given the praise meant for another.  Don’t settle for cheap popularity, work for it and when it is your turn, it will come with honour. Don’t use another man’s block to build your house.  If you gain the favour of certain individuals by deceit it will become very hard to gain their respect once the truth is revealed. Wherever you find yourself, be content with what God has for you and at the appointed time He will reward your faithfulness.  The Glory Realm Devotional by Rev. UNDERSTANDING VISIONS (PART 1)

TEXT: DANIEL 8:27.
Daniel 8:26-27 (AMP)
26 The vision of the evenings and the mornings which has been told you is true. But seal up the vision, for it has to do with and belongs to the [now] distant future.
27 And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick [for several] days. Afterward I rose up and did the king's business; and I wondered at the vision, but there was no one who understood it or could make it understood.
Life is full of a lot of riddles. Not many things are really as they appear to be. Almost everybody is born with sight but only a few have vision. With the eyes even a baby can see but it takes a discerning heart to see vision. If you have problem with your eyes your speed in life will be reduced or completely grounded due to the obstruction of your sight. Just as the clarity of your sight can determine your direction, speed and progress in life, the purity of your heart will determine the degree of your access to spiritual vision and the degree of your fulfillment of destiny. The word of God in Matthew 5:8 (KJV) says “8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” reading this from the amplified version is really an eye opener. It reveals that the state of your heart can determine the degree of favour you attract from God and your progress in life. There are issues of life that can never be unraveled by our intellectual capability. It is one thing to see or receive a vision but it is another thing to understand the vision. When we speak of understanding of vision we need a divine light to see beyond our finite wisdom and experience. This was the prayer of Paul for the Christians at Ephesus as found in Ephesians 1:16-19. From our text of today it is obvious that there are some things that are kept for a certain time. Therefore when certain individuals are able to receive certain understanding at a particular time, it is not because they are smarter than those of previous generation, they are just fortunate to walk in a time of divine appointment and fulfillment. If any man will make a difference in his generation then he must seek God with all his heart. I pray God to grant you a discerning heart to guide you into the fulfillment of destiny in Jesus name.
