JUSTIFYING YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION- (PART 4)

31ST MARCH
TEXT: 2 Peter 1:10-11 (AMP)
10 Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.
11 Thus there will be richly and abundantly provided for you entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

There is nothing like a sure word from the Lord. The closing of verse 10 is such a powerful promise yet not many can see the opportunity in it. It says “; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.” What a promise? Has it ever occurred to you that it is possible to a live an unending victorious Christian life?  It says you will never fall. Yet it does point out that the individual has a role to play; if you do this… therefore it is obvious that if you fail to do what is expected of you then you will fail.
Somehow some people feel that God created and blessed some people with certain advantages that makes them more successful than others but this is not true. Most of the time, people who run to such conclusion are only trying to explain away their weakness. The word says if you do this, you will never fall. therefore you fell because you refused to do that which is expected of you. When most student fail the secondary school certificate exams they will say “They gave me…” but when they pass the exam in flying colours they will say “I got or I scored…” in other words, failure is because they did not want you to pass the exam but when the result is good it is because you know how to answer the questions. If you fail to prepare for your exam you will fail just the way you will fall if you fail to eagerly evaluate your spiritual journey to see to it that you are on the right path of glory.
If you have veered off the plan and purpose of God for your life, it will be wise for you to humble yourself before God and ask for help.

. JUSTIFYING YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION- (PART 3)

March  28TH
TEXT: 2 Peter 1:10-11 (AMP)
10 Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.
11 Thus there will be richly and abundantly provided for you entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A careful study of this chapter from verse 1 will reveal to us the reason for verse 10 and 11. In verse 1 Peter made it clear that he is talking to people who have obtained a precious faith through Christ.
In verse 2 he made it clear that we have access to multiple manifestation of the grace and peace of God through our knowledge of Christ who called us to glory and virtue.

And verse 3 reveals to us that his divine power has given access to all things that pertain to life and godliness and again he said this is through the knowledge of Christ who called us to glory and virtue.

Verses 4 to 7 reveals to us that the glorious promises of Christ has made us to be partakers of a divine nature that empowers us to escape the corruption of this world. Yet we are encouraged to add virtue to our faith and to virtue knowledge and to knowledge temperance and to temperance patience and to patience godliness and to godliness brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness charity.

Verses 8 and 9 makes us understand that the man who has this will not be unfruitful or barren but the one who lacks this is blind and cannot see afar off and has forgotten he was purged from his old sins. With this understanding it becomes clear that Peter was addressing Christians in this passage therefore the call in verse 10 and 11 is for us Christians to become serious about running the Christian race to the very end.

If a man wish to find excuse why he want to remain passive in his faith there would always be those who will be there to encourage him on that path but those who want to make it to the end will have no pity on their flesh.

THE PLACE OF SURRENDER (PT 3.)

27TH MARCH

MEMORY VERSE: Rom 12: 1
(I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.)

TEXT: John 12:24-25
24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25, He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Since we are the vessels that God use to enhance worship, if the vessel is defiled, the worship becomes defiled. So there is the absolute necessity for each one of us to surrender our lives to Him.
The importance of holiness in our worship experience cannot be over emphasized. Holiness is an attribute of God, it is a nature of God and He expects us to live a holy life. When we come before the Lord with filthy hands, that kind of worship will not be acceptable to God. The way we live our life matters to God. God wants to use and consecrate any life, no matter your standing or position. There is a call to holiness, to a deeper hunger and passion for God. If we are ever going to see the move God in our time like we’ve read in the scriptures and learnt from history of the past, then we will need to get beyond the surface thing; we will need to go very deep with God.

ACTION POINT
There is no limit to who God can use to bring glory to His name. He is looking for who to use today. Would that be me or you?

THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD (PART 7)

26TH MARCH

TEXT: Exodus 33:1-7 (KJV) : Exodus 33:1-7 (KJV)
1  And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
2  And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
3  Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
4  And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
5  For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
6  And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
7  And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, thatevery one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

  • When the manifestation of the presence and power of God is only heard or seen from afar it is an indication that something is wrong. You can lay hands on the sick in your neighbor hood and the healing power made manifest, they don’t have to come to church first. We can stand by the road corner and something is going on wrong with somebody that’s obvious demonic and attack and you can say in the name of Jesus and then everything is restored back to order. You must have heard this story, somewhere in Lagos many years ago in a bus a young man mistakenly stepped on one baba’s leg and the baba was angry and said you stepped on my leg. The young man said am sorry, baba was angry because he had some certain powers to depend upon, that he s depending on. He said for stepping on my leg take off your shirt, the young man took off his shirt. People where begging and baba was doing some incantation and everything and said now take off your trousers, and he took off his trousers, the young man is no longer in his senses again. Now he was moving to go further, a young Christian stepped in and said baba he has been begging you leave him alone. Baba said do you want to be part of it? He said no, this young man has been begging you leave him alone. Then the baba started incantation to include this young Christian, he made a very big mistake, he touched a tongue talking Christian. As he was making his incantation this person went off in tongues, baba was to command “take off your clothes”, the young Christian said you take off your own (yes, back to sender) and baba began to dance Ajasco, It was a divine supernatural turn around. That was how that young man was delivered that day and everything the baba intended for him came upon himself. If that young believer who came in had no authority he would just say let me mind my business.

May the Lord find you worthy when he needs someone to bring glory to his name.

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES TO WORSHIP 2

TUESDAY 25TH

 (Mark 7:5-13)
Thank God for disappointing every attempt of the enemy to frustrate your spiritual growth.
Give thanks to God for every worship leader who contributes to the planning and leading of worship. Ask God to divinely inspire them.
Think about any significant spiritual encounter in your life and thank God for that opportunity.

CONTEMPLATION
“Sometimes the religious arena can be very intricate, bearing traces of the coup d’état. In a place where everyone appears to be innocent, friendly, and spiritually inclined, it is so difficult to imagine the presence and degree of frenzy on display. The quietude notwithstanding, it may not take that long for you to realize you have walked into a battlefield. ”p. 29 FFPW.

Before anyone comes to a place where they express an outburst of anger there has been a cold war all this while which is often covered by a religious and hypocritical actions and words. Whenever the hidden selfish motives of our heart are allowed to guide our decisions in a place where the Holy Spirit seeks to glorify Jesus there will be problem (see Gal. 5:17). When we seek to be seen heard and recognized, we are more desperate to winning the favour of people with sugar-coated words than to influence them for the kingdom purpose. This is the Absalom spirit of rebellion and coup d’état (see 2 Sam. 15:1-5). The word of God admonishes us to guard our heart with all diligence (Prov. 4:23).  When you suddenly become lukewarm and passive in supporting anyone assigned to kingdom duties, chances are that you are gradually drifting away into error.

PRACTICAL  ISSUES
When there is acrimony, strife, segregation, faction, and discrimination in a place the potential of there cannot be fully realized. Those who no longer stand the fighting and evil scheming will either opt for a more peaceful and passive stand or quietly leave the church.
See Romans 12:8, 14:19 and Hebrews 12:15

JUSTIFYING YOUR ELECTION & CALLING- (PART 2)

24TH MARCH 2014
2 Peter 1:10-11 (AMP)
10 Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.
11 Thus there will be richly and abundantly provided for you entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
There are many who think they are part of the kingdom of God because they were born into a Christian family and have been in church right from their birth. They know all the religious prayer, recitations and response but they have no intimate and passionate relationship with Christ.
A Christian without Christ is a dangerous crisis in the church. Such kind of persons function by the tradition and religion of the denomination and finds it very difficult to agree with a man who is speaking or acting by the leading of the Holy Spirit because he is strange to the life in the Spirit. Amos 3:3 says two cannot walk together except they agree. Therefore there will always be clashes and opposition simply because this is a mixed multitude. It is very imperative that we ensure that each of us and every one of us are saved and eager to live for Christ. The end of verse 10 of our text tells us that if we fail to do this we will stumble or fall.
This accounts for the inconsistency in some lives. This is also a strong reason why many churches and ministries struggle to fulfil their purpose in life. Many of them were in a hurry to become the fastest growing or the biggest church and in the process they ignore this all important counsel of God. If we must fulfil destiny we must see to it that we are living the life mapped out for us by the Lord.
Do something about it today.

THE PLACE OF SURRENDER (PT 2.)

21ST MARCH

MEMORY VERSE: Rom 12: 1
(I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.)

TEXT: John 12:24-25
24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25, He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

It’s required that we lay down our gifts or talents before the Lord for them to be useful in His service. God cannot be glorified by that which we refuse to lay down before him. Abandon your life, your cares and gifts to Him and you will be amazed at what He will do with you. He is able to cause you to boom and blossom like Aaron’s rod (see Num 17:7-8).
Until a vessel is empty and made available to be filled, it cannot be filled. Until we are desperately hungry for the presence of God and surrender for Him to when we lay down everything that would have taken His place in our lives, we will never experience the manifest glory of God.

ACTION POINT
As we willingly decrease for Him to increase, surrender from our heart to the Lord becomes a reality and we simply want to live for His glory.

THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD (PART 6)

20TH MARCH

TEXT: Exodus 33:1-7 (KJV)

It is a very big mistake to embark on any journey in life without the assurance of God’s presence, it’s a big mistake. Too many people have taken serious decisions without being sure God is there and then they wonder why they failed. You ought to have gotten serious confirmation that He has gone ahead of you before you took your step. And so it is very important for every one of us to have this deep down inside of us. We shouldn’t do anything that will make Him pull away but rather we should do that that will attract His presence not only for a meeting like this but throughout our lives and it’s very possible.

Now something happened in verse 7, Moses now had to take away the tabernacle of the presence of the Lord from the midst of the people and pitched it far off, and that tells a lot. When God leaves the midst of His people there’s a serious danger. When He separated the tabernacle from the midst of the people, whoever had any need to go and seek God now have leave the camp and go to a separate place. If God in your life is only limited to church something is wrong. If people can only see you’re religious, your spirituality in church something is wrong. There should be no difference whether you are out there somewhere or you are here. I believe that God is speaking to somebody right now, you know what He’s saying to us this week, I want more of you, give me more, I want to indwell you; I want to be seen more in you. And if anyone will allow Him you will be amazed what He will do. We don’t want His presence to be withdrawn we want His presence to stay. Live the life and you will see the glory.

SEEDS, IN A MASION OR ON A MISSION (PART 4)

SEEDS, IN A MASION OR ON A MISSION (PART 4)
17TH MARCH

TEXT: Proverbs 24:3-5 (AMP)
3 Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation],
4 And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
5 A wise man is strong andis better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power;
Not all churches and ministries possess the quality of a good soil. Those who are ignorant about this only end up throwing away their seeds. It is a big mistake to labour to possess a viable and precious seed only to throw it on a concrete floor.  Any place that lacks the necessary nutrient required to help unlock and activate the potentials in a seed is at best a store room. Some churches and ministries are at best a beautiful bottle or container. If you throw your seeds in it because of the beauty you will never see it multiple. The beauty and sophistication of a place is not enough reason to throw your seed there. Until you can see tangible evidences and proof that it has the power to transform your seed do not waste your time and potentials there. The difference between a concrete floor and a rich soil is the presence or absence of life. A place that stirs up the passion and purpose of God for your life is likely to help put your seed on a mission. If by the time you spend some time there and nothing seem to be leaping on your inside it is only a store house. Don’t make the mistake to release your seed there because it has been your family church. When a seed is buried in the ground it is only able to germinate because the mineral nutrient present in the soil has the power to break up the covering of the seed, destroy its former identity and activate it’s potential to grow a new life.  Many people have remained a seed because they have tied themselves to an environment that lacks the ability to help them release their potentials to make them a seed on a mission. What about you?

.Most people’s lives are devoid of the presence and power of the Holy Ghost either in a worship gathering or individually. This is because we want to get things done our way, we are trying to do it in the flesh. We are still living in sin, allowing certain things in our lives and then we expect the awesome glory of God to manifest in our life.
Flesh cannot glorify God only spirit can glorify God, creating a meaningful atmosphere of worship requires that we completely surrender to the Lord.
The spirit of the Lord is not comfortable with sin and everything manifestation of the flesh will either reduce or cut off the manifestation of God’s glory in our worship. There must be a deliberate effort to live a life that is holy and acceptable to God and when this is sincerely done from our hearts, we will come to the place of surrender and His glory will be evident in our life

ACTION POINT
We can’t really encounter God with our flesh still being recognized, we have to let the sin go and the weight go.

THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD (PART 5)

THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD (PART 5)
13TH MARCH

TEXT: Exodus 33:1-7 (KJV)
1  And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
2  And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

The withdrawal of the presence of God from our midst is often as a result of our look warmness and disobedience to God’s word. In the book of Revelation 2:5 He said look your light is going out , your spirit is dying, come on, do something about it ( am paraphrasing) or else I will come and remove your candle sticks , He was talking to the church in Revelation. Then in Exodus 33:2-7, look at what the word of God says “And I will send an angel before thee and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. “Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiffed neck people. And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned and no man did put on his ornaments. For the Lord had said unto Moses, “Say unto the children of Israel, ye are a stiffed-necked people . I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment and consumed thee. Therefore, now put off thy ornaments from thee that I may know what to do unto thee. And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by mount Oreb”. And Moses took the tabernacle and pitched it without the camp afar off from the camp and called it the tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation which was without the camp.

A lot of issues here, one, God finds it difficult to force Himself on any one. Often and again He has told them this is what I want you to do, and they did this, so He said “Moses let me not destroy them, I will send an angel because if I continue I’m going to kill them, so let me send an angel to help take you to the promise land. You will still get there but it won’t be me, it would be an angel. But you know, Moses later on in this passage said Lord if your presence will not go with us then let’s just stay here, atleast you are here , are you getting it? Atleast we are right here so we stay where you are until you agree you’re going with us.

THE BLESSING OF WALKING IN DIVINE COUNSEL (PART 3)

THE BLESSING OF WALKING IN DIVINE COUNSEL (PART 3)
12TH MARCH

TEXT: Prov 3:21-29
21, My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22, So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. 23, Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. 24, When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. 25, Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 26, For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. 27, Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. 28, Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. 29, Devise not evil against thy neighbor, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.

When you live your life according to God’s word the blessings are numerous. As you key into the word, you will begin to enjoy life and have dominion (Prov 3:21-22). You will always make progress. You will not have setbacks.

Following God’s word, gives you dominion in all you do. Take for instance if you want to see good in your life, the bible says “Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it” (Prov 3:27). When you withhold good from somebody, good that was supposed to come to your way will be withheld and you don’t want that to happen to you. It’s the same measure with which you measure out to others that shall also be measured back to you. If you specialize in delaying the breakthrough and blessings of others, you are also setting in motion the delay of your own blessings and breakthrough. So when you have the privilege and the power to do good unto somebody, you don’t hold it back, release it.
Be careful how you also treat people who have the confidence to put up with you, live with you or work with you because your evil intention can attract God’s wrath (Prov 3:29). You don’t want God’s wrath but His blessings. If you follow God’s counsel, your life will be very colourful, beautiful and glorious. Your life can be a lot better than what it was a while ago or even right now.

ACTION POINT.
You can’t follow God’s counsel (His word) and lack glory in your life.

A GLORIOUS HUSH (PSALM 46:10)

 A GLORIOUS HUSH (PSALM 46:10)

The hymn “In the Garden” has the following words as the first stanza;
I come to the garden alone when the dew is still on the roses;
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear the Son of God discloses.

Chorus:
And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.
And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other has ever known.

CONTEMPLATION
”There is something beyond description about the manifest presence of the Lord. When He shows up, without a word, He is able to communicate so much to our souls. But when He does speak, it is always too beautiful and glorious to describe. His words are so powerful they reach deep down to every fiber of our being. The host of heaven and earth have to be in a perfect hush to comprehend what He has to say.” P24 FFPW.

It is only a fool and the spiritually dead that keep on speaking when the Almighty is speaking. When a man is panting for air to stay alive it is foolish for him to keep struggling when all he needs to do is to put on the oxygen mask by him. The word of God is the very breath we need to live. Every soul without the word of God continually pants for air until they choke and die (see John 1:1-4).

PRACTICAL ISSUES
The difference between mere religious form and an intimate relationship with God is the life giving and awe inspiring breath of God.
When you are truly connected to God you carry a glorious fountain on your inside that continually spring out to nourish everyone and everything around you.
Make effort to receive the grace of God meant to sustain you each day and the glory realm will become a continual reality.

SEEDS, IN A MANSION OR ON A MISSION (PART 3)

SEEDS, IN A MANSION OR ON A MISSION (PART 3)
10TH MARCH

TEXT: Proverbs 24:3-5 (AMP)
3 Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation],
4 And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
5 A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power;
By lack of wisdom a great inheritance of money, silver, gold and other material blessings will be reduced to dust but by wisdom that which seem insignificant can be transformed into great wealth. Many great organizations for which many invested their time and resources have become history due to the lack of understanding and godly wisdom. Verse 3 of our text reveals to us that it is through godly wisdom you build a life, a home and a family and through understanding a solid foundation is laid. Verse 4 reveals that without knowledge that which has been built will lack pleasant and durable riches.   Many believe that education is the greatest legacy they can leave for their children but without the hand of God in the life of a man with first class degree among the chain of degrees will be reduced to a mere piece of paper. There are parents that have been sent to an early grave due to the reckless life style of their children. Verse 5 of our text says “5 A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power;”
Is there any proof that your seed is on a mission?

THE BLESSING OF WALKING IN DIVINE COUNSEL (PART 2)

7TH MARCH

TEXT: PROV 3:19-22
(19. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. 20. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. 21. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22. So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck)

There is so much far beyond the comprehension of man to be able to fathom the galaxies and the entire universe; somehow by the aid of telescope and all kinds of outer space exploration taken place all over the world. Science is beginning to see that the world is much more than we ever conceived or perceived, it is obvious God is at work and all these couldn't have happened except there is a creator in place (Prov. 3:19).
It will take someone with divine influence to be able to have divine understanding. It is the presence of God in the life of an ordinary man that makes him extra ordinary. If there is nothing wonderful about your life, all you need to do is to open up your spirit and let there be a supernatural download upon your being and then your life can never be the same again.People are only able to discover things hidden in the very depth of the seas, the belly of the earth by divine knowledge. Without divine knowledge you can’t access certain things that are hidden. For you to be able to gain access into the secret and deep things of life, you need the ability and grace of God. It’s by His knowledge that the depths of the earth are broken (Prov 3:20).
The man who has access (deep intimacy and fellowship with God) has access to the depths of life. The deeper your walk with God, the deeper your access to revelations and solutions to the problems of life.

ACTION POINT
Those who have access to revelations will take the lead in a time when others are going down. If you want to take the lead, then walk deeper with God.

THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD (PART 4).

TEXT: Matthew 5:5-6 (KJV)
5  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

There’s a difference between having church and having an intimate relationship with Him. There are songs we begin to sing that addresses Him directly; they are the songs we call the “vertical” songs that speak to Him directly. Such songs are not songs that you sing, they are songs that expresses your heart and longing for Him. And when we are singing like that the heavens begin to move. From the book of Isaiah 44:3 the word of the Lord says
“For I will pour water out on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour my spirit on your descendants and my blessings on your offspring”.
Who will He pour water upon? The one that is thirsty. Blessed are them who do hunger and thirst. So if you lack thirst for Him He does not waste His resources, He keeps them back until you are hungry. There are many of us (mothers) here if you have a child you give the child the food and the child is playing with the food you withdraw the food and keep it until that child begins to cry for the food. Now once the child begins to cry for the food, you know that the food will not be wasted, it will be eaten. So our heavenly fathers does not know how to  waste precious heavenly resources He waits for your hunger, and when you are hungry then He feeds you. He said He will pour water upon the soul that is thirsty and floods upon the dry grounds.

When you are like a dry ground David called it “a patched land”, he says my soul is thirsty for you like a patched land, a patched land that has been eaten up by draught that is already broken, he said that is how my soul is, am waiting for as much as you can pour. God said to that one “I don’t just pour a little, I send flood”. Some people carry a cup of the presence but some people come with the flood. They are not just there for themselves they are there to fill every other person, and so the glory of God begins to fall upon as many that come in contact with them; such persons manifest the presence of God wherever they go. They don’t need to be in church before they manifest it, you meet them you are wondering there is something about this person, it’s the presence of God. The Glory Realm Devotional, by Rev. SEEDS, IN A MANSION OR ON A MISSION (PART 2)

TEXT: Genesis 41:33-37 (KJV)
33 Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
36 And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
37 And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
Most people will do anything at all cost to get more money but only a few understand the secret of growing enduring and durable wealth. Enduring and durable wealth is more than hard work, experience, intelligence, skills and talents. It is more about the accumulation and the application of godly wisdom enshrined in biblical principles. Joseph entered Egypt as a slave without the smallest coin in his pocket but by the supernatural wisdom of God he became the most powerful man in Egypt and by his counsel he made pharaoh and Egypt great. It takes supernatural wisdom to lift a man or nation from insignificance to a place of great prominence. Your seed is much more than money and other tangible things. The truth is that the tangible and visible is often a product of the intangible and the invisible. Steel is not grown on a tree. It is the product of an idea that transformed other materials into something more durable and useful. The great store of grain that made Egypt great and very significant was only possible because of the wisdom of Joseph. The investment of ideas backed up with a dogged determination and purposeful pursuit is the reason things like the light bulb, a floating metal (Ship) on the water and an aeroplane in the sky became a possibility.

When a man invests his idea or earning in the right soil he sends his seed on a mission but when he keeps it or spends it on himself and other selfish agenda he has at best stored his seed in a mansion. When Pharaoh took serious the counsel of Joseph posterity and the rest of the world benefited their wisdom and diligence.  Where is your seed?. The Glory Realm Devotional by Rev. THE PLACE OF YOUR ABODE

Hebrews 11:5-6.
The place of your dwelling is not by circumstances, it is by choice.

CONTEMPLATION
It is the will of God that we dwell in the riches of His glory but it is the choice of a man that determines the place of his abode in the realms of life.  The word of God revealed the ideal place of our habitation from the declaration of the apostle Paul as found in Acts 17:28 but it is only when a soul is completely yielded to God that this declaration becomes applicable to him. There is a glory realm for you to live and walk in but by the desires of the flesh mankind from Adam have settled for less again and again. The power of sin is the only weapon capable of alienating man from the glory realm. Man becomes mentally retarded and spiritually disoriented once the fellowship with the Father is broken. Inspiration and extraordinary ideas are the fruits of a life in communion with divinity. This is the place where spiritually inclined people excel their contemporaries in their various field. When a soul is confused it is as a result of partial or permanent disconnection from the source of life.  It begins to function is like an electronic device with contact problem. The yearning of soul of man can only be truly satisfied by the help of the Holy Spirit who the Lord Jesus promised us will teach us all things (see John 14:26). Under the Old Testament era, a few persons like Enoch, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, David and others were able to walk in exceptional testimony because they had an intimate walk with God.  If you are willing to go an extra mile in your thirst for God you somewhere stumble into the glory that will change your story.
PRACTICAL ISSUES
Those who deliberately practice the presence of God activate the glory of God upon their souls.
Until you able to hush your flesh your spirit man cannot access the glorious voice of the Lord.

It is useless chasing after anointed men of God to lay hands on you when you lack the hunger to sustain the anointing in a place of personal communion with God. The Glory Realm Devotional by Rev. Igho Y; the Glorious Fountain Ministries.
