ATTENTIVE TO DIVINE GUIDANCE (PART 6)

DECEMBER  8TH

TEXT: Genesis 26:1-5, 12-14 King James Version (KJV)

26 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

2 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:

3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.

13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

There is a lifting coming which nothing can stop. God will make room for your lifting in a time when everyone would have concluded that there is no way or room for lifting. In that time when it is generally agreed and it is obvious to all that things are hard that is when God is truly glorified when you get blessed. This is often possible when we are attentive to God like Isaac according to our test.
It takes divine guidance to prosper in a time when businesses are closing down.

By divine guidance, if your lifting is in a business people are running away from, God will make room for you to go into it so that what He has proposed will come to pass.
God will begin to give you ideas and cause you to see things that others cannot. This was how Isaac had an edge over others, he was attentive to divine guidance.

You can make money from where others cannot see anything. But this is only possible with those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High. That is the access to divine guidance. Go after God with a sincere and diligent heart and the impossible will become possible.

HYMN- O COME, O COME, EMMANUEL

DECEMBER 6TH

TEXT: Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 11:1, 22:22; Matthew 1:22, 23; Luke1:78, 79; Galatians 4:4, 5

He will be great and be called the Son of the most high. The lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end (Luke: 1:32, 33)

The preparation for the celebration of our Lords birth begins four Sundays before Christmas day. This begins the period known as the advent season. Advent centers on the Old Testament prophecies concerning a coming messiah and his establishment on the earthly kingdom. The Messiah’s coming was prophesied 600 years before His birth. At the time Jewish people were living in captivity in Babylon. For centuries thereafter faithful Jews earnestly anticipated the deliverance-Messiah with great longing and expectation, echoing the prayer that he would "ransom captive Israel". And finally the long awaited heavenly announcement came-"unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour, which is Christ the lord!"(Luke2:11)

"O come, O come, Emmanuel" was originally used in the medieval church liturgy as a series of antiphons-short musical statements that were sung for the week of vesper services just before Christmas Eve. Each of these antiphons greets the anticipated Messiah with one of the titles ascribed Him throughout the Old Testament: wisdom, Emmanuel, the Lord of might, the rod of Jesse, day spring, and the key of David.

The haunting modal melody for the verses is also of ancient origin. It is based on one of the earliest forms of sacred music known -the chant or plain song.

O come, o come, Emmanuel, and ransom captive Israel that mourns in lonely exile here until the son of God appear.

O come O come thou Lord of might who to thy tribes, on Sinai’s height, in ancient times didst give the law in cloud and majesty and awe.

O come thou rod of Jesse, free thine own from Satan’s tyranny; from depths of hell thy people save and give them vict'ry o'er the grave.

O come, thou day-spring, come and cheer our spirits by thine advent here; o drive away the shades of night and pierce the clouds and bring us light.

O come, thou key of David, come and open wide our heav'nly home where all thy saints with thee shall dwell-o come, o come, Emmanuel!

REFRAIN: rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee, o Israel.

TEXT: Mark 16:15-20King James Version (KJV)

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Once again I just want us to meditate on some of the declarations that were made when we meet. I have observed that there was a reoccurring statement, and it is “Something big or huge is coming" The question I wish to ask you is this, are you ready for what is coming?

Here again are some of the declarations...

"Beloved, something huge is coming, and it is only those who are expectant and spiritually hungry that will be rightly positioned for it.

Some extraordinary, seemingly impossible things are about to happen. God is saying to tell us this, that we have had enough testing of the waters, but now is the time for us to walk on waters and take our faith beyond boarders.

There is a dimension of your walk with God that is just ordinary, but you need to go deeper, you cannot do it by your power or wisdom. You can only do it by the strength of the Holy Spirit. He is the one given us by the Father to take us out of the ordinary, into the extra-ordinary. Begin to attempt great things for God and the results will follow."

If you keep waiting for the perfect time, you will never walk in the extraordinary. Step out today!

TEXT: Psalm 46:1-10King James Version (KJV)

46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

There are laws that have been put in place by God to activate certain blessings in life irrespective of who it is that is involved. There are certain principles spelt out in the scriptures that many Christians have failed to acknowledge, and so they suffer and wonder why their prayers have not been answered. Below you can find part of that which I shared during one of our meetings in Glorious Fountain Ministries.

"If you do not know how to take care of that which belongs to somebody else, even what is yours would not be given to you. But he who is faithful over little, will have more added to him. So, use the little opportunity you have and do your very best with it.

When you know and understand the principles that are written in the Bible, you will understand that things operate by laws, principles and order. Many of us miss these principles by focusing on religions and traditions. For instance, the Bible says give and it shall be given unto you. We are not told exactly what to give, so you can give your time, money, service, energy, etc, and it shall be given unto you, more than you gave.

Jesus told us not to worry about what to eat, wear or live, for our heavenly Father knows we have need of them. When you give attention to God's work, He will not let you get stranded, but will always meet your need, for He is a present help in times of need (Psalm 45:1-2) You cannot serve God and loose. You do not need to do anything shady to get blessed." Just let Him lead and all will be well.

TEXT: Isaiah 45:1-6, 13-14.King James Version (KJV)

45 Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the Lord of hosts.

14 Thus saith the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.

A careful study of our Scripture for today will reveal to you that God is able to raise up and use any political leader anywhere in the world to fulfill his purpose on the earth. The choice of the man Cyrus still remains a mystery to many. For God to fulfill His eternal purpose He picked up the most unexpected fellow and many were confused, this should make us careful not to run to conclusions.

Repeatedly the Lord has told us that he is raising people in our midst who will become passionate vision helpers. They will not be full of themselves, but be very glad to be part of what He is doing in our midst, and our God will prove himself faithful.

All we need to do to be in an advantaged position, is to remain attentive to details in His word and happenings around us. The following were declarations given during one of The Glorious Fountain’s meetings.

"In a time where some persons will be lifted, others will be coming down. And this is why you have to decide on time which of these groups you belong to, because this is going to be based solely on your walk with the Lord.

God is going to bless and receive glory from those who will not try to steal His glory (claiming they earned His blessings)." It is not going to be by might nor by power.

Don't be careless in making decisions. "So, if you are presented with certain opportunities this season, be sure to take time to find out if it is the will of God for your life." Beloved, be especially careful of those mouth watery opportunities, for that is where the wisdom and strength of many have failed them. Be attentive at all times.

The events unfolding in our world today are a pointer to an inevitable crisis. We have been praying and trusting God for peace, but the actions of man in various nations seem to be inviting a divine judgement. It is now more easy to imagine how Noah preached and was made to look like a joke, but then the flood came. The truth is that, just like in the time of Noah, things will continue as before. I noticed that just like in the days of Noah and before Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed, this is a time when mankind wants to prove that they have the right to do whatever they like in defiance to the word of God.

The following is part of the declarations the Lord gave me about developments in 2015.

"At the end of the Shmita (Jewish Sabbath year) in year 2001, there was the World Trade Center bombings. Around the same time in 2008, was the beginning of the world economic meltdown. We are now approaching the end of yet another Shmita, and something big is coming. Whatever happens economically all over the world is not going to affect the Church of Christ that is prepared for Him. Do not see yourself going down, but please be ready, so that the impending judgement will not come on you."

September 13th happened to be the end of the year of rest for the Jews, and according to the evidence we have from the above information, we need to be ready. Please don't live like those who do not know God and are insensitive to the divine leading of God.

Like what we see from our text for today, God is able to motivate leaders of nations to do His will and fulfill His divine agenda. Please be attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit so you can easily discern that which is unfolding in our world. May you not be taken unawares in Jesus name. Amen.

ATTENTIVE TO DIVINE GUIDANCE (PART 1)

DECEMBER 2ND

TEXT:
Isaiah 45:1-6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
God Uses Cyrus

45 This is what the Lord says to His anointed, to Cyrus [king of Persia],

Whose right hand I have held

To subdue nations before him,

And I will ungird the loins of kings [disarming them];

To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

2 “I will go before you and level the mountains;

I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.

3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness [the hoarded treasures]

And the hidden riches of secret places,

So that you may know that it is I,

The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you (Cyrus the Great) by your name.

4 “For the sake of Jacob My servant,

And of Israel My chosen,

I have also called you by your name;

I have given you an honorable name

Though you have not known Me.

5 “I am the Lord, and there is no one else;

There is no God except Me.

I will embrace and arm you, though you have not known Me,

6 That people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun [the world over]

That there is no one except Me.

I am the Lord, and there is no other,

As I meditate on the text for today and the declarations below which we would be dwelling on for some days, I am amazed at the word of the Lord. Those who serve God from a clean heart and are attentive to his word have a strong advantage over those who are not. You cannot remain at one level in life if your ear is attentive to God's leading. The problem is that many of us have ears but we refuse to hear. Let's consider the following declarations given some time ago.
"Something is coming. All of the events taking place now are not happening by chance, you have to get ready. There will be judgement on the earth beginning from the 13th of September.

Watch the economic trend and decisions that will be taken by powerful nations. But as a child of God, you do not need to have any fear or anxiety, because you belong to the kingdom of the King of Kings. When the world is saying there is a casting down, for you there is going to be a lifting, in the midst of all this, God is going to be blessing His people who are prepared for Him."

Can you identify in any form confirmations about this declarations above? Are there any indications of judgment upon the earth? Do you think the event happening in some nations recently are coincidence? Whenever the people of a nation or their leaders take a stand against the word of God, things begin to happen that becomes a pointer to judgement. This also applies to individuals and groups. It is not the will of God for any man to perish but those who choose to go their own way have themselves to blame. Fix your eyes on the Lord and save your soul from sorrow.
