. THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE ( PT. 2)
JUNE 18TH
TEXT: Luke 16:10-14 (KJV)
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
In life most of us never seem to
have enough and in our desire to have more many have lost the attitude of
gratitude. While praying, most people spend less than 2 minutes to thank God,
about 10mins complaining and the lager part to ask for some personal desires.
We often forget where the Lord took us from and what he has done for us. This
is the reason many have become impatient and very desperate. The man who is working as a junior staff has
quickly forgotten that when he was jobless he had promised to be grateful for
any job. Now he can see is that it is taking God too long a time to make him a
senior staff. Until we learn how to be grateful and faithful with little we may
not qualify for a greater blessing. Stop being grumpy and star right away to
ask God for mercy and appreciate him for his faithfulness to you. No matter
what, choose to be so grateful until it becomes obvious to all and you will be
amazed what the Lord will do with you. Make more effort to be grateful today.
