REST IN THE GLORY UNTIL IT REST ON YOU (PART 2)

NOVEMBER 2ND

TEXT: Exodus 33:11-14King James Version (KJV)

11 And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

12 And Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Too many believers are too restless and busy about that which cannot last. Too many people cannot bear the pain of allowing God to break them till they become ready. Only those who are broken in the presence of God can break forth without breaking down. If you will know how to pray and breakthrough in prayer, then you have to start by taking your eyes away from every distraction that will come your way, only then will you experience the glory.

Too many of us rush away from the presence of God before the Lord is done with us. In this same passage, Moses took time to ask God to show Him the way, which speaks of the heart and desires in the heart of God but not many are interested in that. Until you find the way, you cannot find the glory.

All the while Moses was praying to God, Joshua was there and he saw the way Moses dialogued with God. Until you find the presence of God, you cannot rest in the glory.

If you will deposit your life on God’s altar, His glory will flow through you. You get to a point where nothing else really matters except the glory, then things begin to happen miraculously. When the devil tries to attack you God’s glory on you will frustrate his attacks.

Beloved, spend time in the presence of God, that is where the glory will rest on you as you encounter divine visitation and total transformation. If you truly seek Him, you will find Him.

HYMN- COME, THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING

NOVEMBER 1ST

TEXT: 1 Samuel 7:10-12; Psalm 68:19; Zachariah 13:1; Romans 5:2
O lord, you alone my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago. (Isaiah 25:1)

It would be enlightening if the people in the pew could stand on the platform and observe the congregational singing during an average church service. One would soon concur that there are many who appear to have attended church without the express purpose of having a personal encounter with God. Comparatively, few people who reveal evidence of losing themselves in worship and praise or of appropriating the great truths about which they sing.

How different would be our times of corporate praise if each of us would heed the apostle Paul’s teaching of “singing with the Spirit and with the understanding also” (1 Corinthians 14:15). Not all of us are able to sing tunefully, but everyone in whom the spirit of God dwells can and should respond with joyful praise when the opportunity is presented.

During his early teen years, Robert Robinson lived in London, where he mixed with a notorious gang of hoodlums and led a life of debauchery. At the age of 17, he attended a meeting where the noted evangelist George Whitefield was preaching. Robison went for a purpose of scoffing at those poor deluded Methodists and ended up professing faith in Christ as his savior. Soon he felt called to preach the gospel and subsequently became the pastor of a rather large Baptist church in Cambridge England. Despite his young age, Robison became known as an able minister and scholar, writing various theological books as well as several hymns, including this was written when he was just 23 years of age.

Come, thou fount of ev’ry blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace; streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet song by flaming tongues above; praise the mount-I’m fixed upon it-mount of thy redeeming love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer-hither by thy help I’m come; and I hope by thy good pleasure safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger wand’ing from the fold of God; He to rescue me from danger interposed His precious blood.

O to grace how great a debtor daily I’m constrained to be! Let thy goodness like a fetter bind my wand’ing heart to thee: prone to wander Lord, I feel it prone to leave the God I love; here’s my heart- O take and seal it; seal it for thy courts above.

From our text you can see that when Moses left the tent of meeting, his servant Joshua stayed back. While others were outside at their tent doors, Joshua was inside, even when God was communing with Moses. This is how people get anointed. If you know anyone who is truly anointed take note of what they do and more importantly how they live for God, then stay close and in no distant time you will be clothed in that anointing and begin to walk in it also.

When you get to know God’s presence for yourself, you will begin to see His glory. The anointing will rub off on you, and begin to flow through you. But the problem with many, is that they do not want to get in and pay the price. Joshua paid the price and at the appropriate time he walked in the glory. Too many people only end up learning something about the presence and before you know it, they are off. They only know about it but they have not known it for themselves and that would not be enough. Don’t branch off until you have undeniable proof that you know the glory of the Lord yourself with tangible evidences of the Lord’s hand upon your life.

CHARISMA AND CHARACTER

OCTOBER 30TH

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 13King James Version (KJV)

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Some of us wants others to know that we are spiritual, so we begin to talk in a particular way to make people feel that the anointing is in our charisma. The anointing is not a pattern, method or form. Until your charisma matches your character you are only a sounding gong.

It is true that the Lord desires to use every one of us in a special way and that’s why God created you uniquely. Your uniqueness is a pointer to a divine design but it is sad that may have exchanged this for a form. He wants to use you to affect lives around you just the way you are but there must be some transformation of your character to conform to His word. The anointing is not in the way people talk or preach. Do not try to be anyone else, there is something unique about you.

If you are struggling in certain areas of your life just, let God know. If you cannot pray, tell Him the truth and ask for help. If you are praying and having results, thank Him and ask for more grace.

The anointing comes when you crave for more of God but many are only interested in the power. That is why some claim to be anointed but have serious character issues. The deeper you go in your walk with God the more the glory increases. To go deeper you have to be desperate for more of God. The glory of God has nothing to do with methods and patterns (Rom. 11:33). People get anointed when they stay in God’s presence and soak into His nature and glory. You become progressively sensitive till you are able to discern and understand the will of God. It will not come by people laying hands on you. No matter how many anointed men of God lay hands on you if you are not ready to pay the price it will all amount to waste of time. Go for God and then you will find the glory.

YOUR GLORY IS IN YOUR CHOICE

OCTOBER 29TH.

TEXT: Romans 6:1-13.King James Version (KJV)

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Not many of us seem to be aware of the consequences of our choice. There is so much power in your choice that each one of us make. The moment you make your choice, you empower the spirit that takes decision over your life. Sin is a choice and righteousness is a choice. The reward people get for choosing sin is death but the reward for choosing righteousness is life (Rom 3:23).

If you desire to see glorious days then you must run away from sin. Run away, so you can experience the glory and rest God has in store for you. If you are not ready to shun sin, you will only end up talking about Glory and Rest without any tangible evidence of it in your life.

God is opening great and glorious doors for His people but there are those who have placed themselves in a place where the doors are being shut against them, may this not be your portion in Jesus name.

If you refuse to follow God with a sincere heart you will be left behind, because God has no pleasure in them who draw back (Heb. 10:38). Do not be of them who draw back but make up your mind to tarry in His presence until you see the glory. The Lord is faithful and his glory is everywhere. Don’t miss your portion.

THE MEETING PLACE

OCTOBER 28TH

TEXT: Exodus 33:6-11King James Version (KJV)
6 And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.

7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.

9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.

10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.

11 And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

From our text for today, we saw what it was like each time Moses went into the tent of meeting, the cloud would descend and he would be wrapped in the glory as he communed with the Lord. It is obvious that the descending of the cloud is a pointer that this meeting was exclusively reserved for just Moses and the Lord, no one else was allowed in. God would shut every other person out because He counted His time with Moses to be very important. When this happens, the children of Israel would then worship from their tent doors. Where are you standing in your walk with God? There cannot be anointing except you have a place to meet Him regularly. Do you have a place where the glory descends? You will not find the glory except you are determined, you will need to get out of your flesh and out of every distraction.

Access to the glory is open to everyone but you must be ready to pay the price to access it. Many were worshipping from afar but Moses went in. God is not a God of thunder and lightning ready to strike you down. His throne is called the throne of grace, even if you have sinned and are truly repentant you can still come to Him (Heb. 4:16). When you are in need come to God.

Too many of us are worshipping from afar because we have sin baggages. Just let go and let God.

TO LIVE FOR HIM

OCTOBER. 27TH.

TEXT: Matthew 5:6King James Version (KJV)

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Part of the reason the glory is scarce in the lives of many in the church today is the fact that too many Christians pamper their flesh. To grow spiritually, you must be hungry enough to seek after God until you are able to hear from God. If you will walk with God, you will need to get out of the noise around you; cut yourself off distractions on purpose. Beloved the glory does not belong to those who want to show off their flesh. Glory and Rest are only accessible to those who are hungry for God (Matt. 5:6).

In this spiritual journey, God will not give assignments to those who are operating in the flesh. That is why when people say they are called to the ministry and the focus is on how they can make it big and become famous, it is obvious they have no vision from God. We need to get to the point where we truly live in the glory and behold Him always. As you behold Him, you become like Him, you loose your identity, and consciousness of yourself (2 Cor. 3:18). Until you loss self-consciousness you cannot gain God’s consciousness.

Some people want to show off in the house of God, when their hearts should be panting for Him.  You cannot go flirting with sin and claim to be in God’s presence. You can choose to live for God or play “smart” and live in sin, it is all up to you. Glory does not belong to those who are trying to play smart but to those who are really hungry for Him. God will show His glory through you if you hungry for Him.

BE CLOTHED IN GLORY

OCTOBER. 26TH

TEXT: Psalm 63:1-8King James Version (KJV)

63 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

If you truly desire to be clothed with the glory of God, then you must come before Him with sincere hunger in your heart. Too many people serve God as a sense of duty than a delight. Only a deep and intimate relationship is strong enough to attract the glory of God.

Make up your mind to approach God in such a way that He cannot but be so pleased to release His glory upon your life.

Sometimes we wait for trouble to locate us before we become desperate in seeking God with all our hearts. You cannot find a man who is mightily anointed that does not have a place where He meets with God.

God has His divine agenda for each of us and He often will give us this prompting on the inside, but that agenda can only be found if we are sensitive enough to respond to Him. A continual desire to be close to Him can make a great difference. Moses had this desire and did not wait for God to come to him, he went to God in the tabernacle outside the camp (Ex 33). Some of us are only waiting for God to visit us but only those who go after the Lord knows what it is to be clothed in His glory.

When it comes to the anointing, we are the ones who must go looking for Him. Until you start looking for Him you may very well be cutting yourself off the anointing. Only those who stay in His presence can carry the glory of his presence. When it comes to salvation, He will come looking for you. After He has found you, it is now your turn to go after Him. He will assist a baby Christian to stand but He expect older Christians to stand firm in Him.

HYMN - DOXOLOGY

OCTOBER 25TH

TEXT: Psalm 97:1, 100; 150:6

I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify Your name forever. (Psalm 86:12)
The lines of the “Doxology” have been the most frequent sung words of any known song for more than 300 years. Even today, nearly every English-speaking Protestant congregation unties at least once every Sunday in this noble overture of praise. It has been said that the “Doxology” should be regarded by Christians an offering or sacrifice of praise to God for all His blessings in the past week (Hebrews 13:15). True worship always involve an offering. In the Old Testament period, Levitical priests offered blood sacrifices to God on behalf of their people. In this New Testament era, God wants our sacrifice of praise. Other sacrifices desired by God of new testament believers –priests include: our bodies (romans 12:1) the service of our faith (philippians2:17); our material gifts(philippians4:18); our good works and communication(hebrews13:16).

The author of this text was a bold, outspoken 17th century Anglican bishop named Thomas Ken. Ken’s illustrious career in the ministry was a stormy and colorful. He served for a time as the English chaplain at the royal court in The Hague, Holland. He was so outspoken, however, in denouncing the corrupt lives of those in authority at the Dutch capital that he was compelled to leave after a short stay.

Upon his return to England, he was appointed by king Charles II to be one of his chaplains calling him “the good little man” the king rewarded Thomas Ken by appointing him to bishopric of the Bath and Wales area. The historian Macaulay gave this tribute to Bishop Ken “he came as near to the ideal of Christian perfection as human weakness permits”

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; praise him all creatures here below praise Him above, ye heav’nly host; praise father, son, and Holy Ghost.

REVERENCE GOD

24th OCTOBER

TEXT: Psalm 20King James Version (KJV)

20 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

Beloved, it is important that we attach great importance to our access to the presence of God. Too many of us have become too indifferent and lackadaisical in God’s presence and that can be dangerous. Do not make the mistake to become too familiar with God’s presence. It is dangerous to go before Him in your pride or carelessness. It is important to always approach the things and presence of God with reverence. He is worthy of all the glory and honour.

Sometimes, some people come into the house of God desperately seeking for God and it seem as though God is so far away. The truth is that many of such persons where the ones who alienated themselves from God. Many at several times have trivialized the presence of God until they find themselves in desperate need of God and they begin to wonder why He is far. When all was well, they saw no need of God until their need caused them to seek for God.

Make up your mind to love and bless the Lord at all time and in the day of trouble or need you will find the Lord to be your present help in time of need (see Psalm 46:1).

DON’T IGNORE YOUR SPIRITUAL COVERING (PART 4)

OCTOBER 23RD

TEXT: 2 Kings 13:14-17. King James Version (KJV)

14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

15 And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.

16 And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands.

17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

We have a lot to learn from our passage today. Those who desire true greatness and success in life have learnt to follow the leading and principles of God laid out in the scripture. If you truly desire grace you have to humble yourself before God and man, especially those the Lord has positioned as a covering over your life. If you make yourself proud before God, doors will be shut against you. As you obey the Lord in this area, you will be amazed how God will place certain persons in places that will make the difference for you. Don’t make the mistake of despising or looking down on some people because of certain weaknesses, acknowledge the grace upon them and see what happens. If the King had despised Elisha because he was sick, he would have despised the victory over his enemies. So, do not despise anyone, even if they look insignificant, because if you do, you may just be despising your destiny.

After King Jehoash acknowledged the grace of God upon Elisha, the prophet gave him instructions that guaranteed him victory. Elisha placed his hand on King Jehoash’s hand and instructed him to shoot with his bow and arrow. Elisha placing his hand on the King was one way of releasing divine backing on him. Even though the King had the bow and arrow, it would take the grace of God for him to be victorious over his strong enemy. So many of us want to shoot into the future without the support of God and that would be a big mistake. If those who serve idols would not move until they consult their native doctors why is it that most Christians are very careless?

Seek for the hand of God upon your life before you lunch out onto anything. Be double sure you have the backing of heaven.

DON’T IGNORE YOUR SPIRITUAL COVERING (PART 3)

OCTOBER 22ND

TEXT: 2 Kings 13:14-17King James Version (KJV)

14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

Once King Jehoash acknowledged the authority and backing that went with the ministry of Elisha, he was able to decode whatever prevented him from having access into the glory realm. Today, there are people who do not think it necessary to be under certain covering, but everyone has to be under a kind of covering to be able to overcome certain challenges of life. It may be your church pastor or someone else, whoever it is, you must seek where the glory of God is, and make sure what you have is truly a covering.

Just as there are physical bastards, there are also spiritual bastards. There are a lot of spiritual bastards today, people who do not want anyone to counsel them. They do not want to submit themselves to anyone because they have experienced a little of God’s grace and glory. Such individuals cannot go far in life before they dry up.

You need a connection to the Source, a connection that continually fills you. You need to look for where your soul can be nourished again and again. There are times that it would not necessarily be someone in a higher spiritual authority who would refresh you. So, do not ignore those who seem insignificant, because they can lift your spirit. But if you set out in pride, thinking that you can do it on your own, you are going to crash. Keep your eyes fixed on the Lord, and if you are really humble, He will direct you to those that will help refresh you. Don’t die before your time.

DON’T IGNORE YOUR SPIRITUAL COVERING (PART 2)

OCTOBER 21ST

TEXT: 2 Kings 13:14-17.

2 Kings 13:14-17King James Version (KJV)

By virtue of spiritual ordering, there are persons God has placed over your live as a form of spiritual covering, and you should not forsake or ignore them. It is possible that they may or may not have titles to their names, like Pastor or Reverend, but are anointed and filled with the grace of God. Now, because of the call and grace of God upon their lives, they have brought many sons unto glory. So, if you choose to focus on those who have titles instead of the anointing, you will miss it. If you place yourself under such a man, you may end up frustrating whatever grace you have in your life by your poor choice.

There are persons who joined certain gatherings or churches just for denomination sake and whatever fire they had, died.

When the wise men came looking for Jesus, the King of the Jews, they got to Herod’s palace assuming that the one who is born king must be in the house of the King, but it was a mistake. Immediately they entered the palace, because it was the wrong place, the star disappeared. But as soon as they came out of the palace, the start reappeared. Beloved, do not place yourself under anyone or anywhere that will kill your destiny, trust God for understanding.

If you are going to have supernatural speed and grace, then you must pitch your tent where the glory of God resides. Do all you can to dwell where the glory is.

DON’T IGNORE YOUR SPIRITUAL COVERING (PART 1)

OCTOBER 20TH

2 Kings 13:14-19Amplified Bible (AMP)

Death of Elisha

14 Now Elisha had become sick with the illness by which he would die. And Joash the king of Israel came down to him and wept over him and said, “O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” 15 And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and arrows.” So he took a bow and arrows. 16 Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” And he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. 17 And he said, “Open the window to the east,” and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot!” And he shot. And Elisha said, “The Lord’s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram (Syria); for you will strike the Arameans in Aphek until you have destroyed them.” 18 Then he said, “Take the arrows,” and he took them. And Elisha said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground,” and he struck it three times and stopped. 19 So the man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck down Aram until you had destroyed it. But now you shall strike Aram only three times.”

When Elisha was about to die, King Jehoash visited him and was sensitive enough to connect to the heavenly realm as can be observed in his determination to have the man of God to assist him. He used the same words Elisha had used when Elijah was being caught up to heaven. The King showed his understanding for spiritual role of the prophets; that they are the ones appointed by God to anointed Kings for the throne. He has not forgotten that his position and reign was not without that anointing and grace of God upon his life. He was acknowledging that it was by the prophet support he has succeeded so far and cannot imagine how he would be victorious over his enemy without his help. Part of the reason many fail in life is that they forget too soon the role of God’s servants in their life. This is one reason many miss the mark in life, they get swollen headed after a few successes and begin to look down on the spiritual heads God appointed over their lives, thinking they no longer need them.

It is true that God is our source but he has channeled our prosperity through the prophet he appointed over our lives (2 chron 20:20).

If you despise such persons you may end up despising your victory and glory in life.

King Jehoash acknowledged the reality of the glory upon Elisha when he cried out “My father, the horseman of Israel and chariots thereof”. He also recognized the fatherly role of Elisha and acknowledged the source by which Elisah operates. By his cry, he admitted that the same chariots that took Elijah up to heaven were at work in the life of Elisha (2 Kings 6:17).

When someone carries the anointing of God, he has heavenly backing. Do not place yourself under any one who has no heavenly backing. You need to be careful where you go, because the presence of God is not everywhere. Just because somewhere has the name of God on it does not mean that God is there. Be wise.

DARE TO LIVE IN THE SUPERNATURAL

OCTOBER. 19TH.

TEXT: Philippians 3:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death

There is access into the supernatural that is open to everyone. But only those who are sincere enough to follow God can get there. It is in the supernatural realm that He speaks and reveals His will to you. When this begins to happen, then the Lord will begin to use you to reach out to others. He is saying to you that you have been on the side lines for too long. As you follow Him with a sincere heart and not be in a hurry trying to prove anything to anyone, He will draft you into the place where you become relevant.

Do not fix your eyes on what is happening in the lives of others, just stay with Him and you will see it come to pass. He has gone beyond what you are trusting Him for. When the Lord takes over, the life that has been ignored for long will become so significant that no one will be able to ignore you again.

The enemy should have accomplished his agenda concerning your life but God stopped him, not because you are worthy but by His mercy and grace kept you (Lam. 3:22).

Walking in the supernatural is only a decision away. If there is going to be an increase in the dimension of glory you walk in, you have to step out of your present realm and enter into the supernatural with God. Do not exclude Him from any part of your life, because you cannot fulfill that purpose without Him. Fix your eyes on Jesus.

HYMN-BLESSED ASSURANCE.

 OCTOBER. 18TH.

TEXT: Isaiah 12:2; Romans 8:16, 17; 15:13; Titus 2:13, 14; 1 John 5:13

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:22, 23)

Some people claim to have accepted Christ as savior, yet they live in the tragic uncertainty of doubting their personal relationship with God. The scriptures teach, however, that we can know with absolute confidence that we have the life of God within us (1 John 5:13). This confidence is not based on inner feelings or outer signs. Rather, this assurance is found upon the promises of a faithful God and His inspired Word. It depends not on the amount of our faith but on the object of our faith-Christ Himself.

Though blinded at six weeks of age through improper medical treatment, Fanny Crosby wrote more than 8,000 gospel songs texts in her lifetime of 95years. Her many favorites such as “Blessed Assurance” have been an important part of evangelical worship for the past century. Only eternity will disclose the hosts of individuals whose lives have been spiritually enriched through the texts of Fanny Crosby’s man y hymns. Engraved on Fanny J. Crosby’s tombstone at Bridgeport, Connecticut, are these significant words taken from our Lord’s remarks too Mary, the sister of Lazarus, after she had anointed Him with costly perfume-“she hath done what she could” (Mark14:8).

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of His spirit, washed in His blood.

Perfect submission, perfect delight!
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
angels descending bring from above
echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Perfect submission-all is at rest;
I in my savior am happy and blest;
watching and waiting, looking above,
filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

Chorus: This is my story, this is my song,
praising my savior all the daylong;
this is my story; this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.

WALK BY THE EYES OF FAITH

OCTOBER 17TH.

TEXT: Habakkuk 2:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

It is a big mistake to depend on our senses in the spiritual battles of life. You must work on your senses until they are totally subject to the will of the Holy Spirit. There is the place where your senses are exercised and your eyes can see what the natural eyes cannot see. You begin to have access beyond your senses as He gives you glimpses of what you ought to do and where you ought to be. This place is the secret place of the Most High (Psalm 91:1), no darkness can survive, nor can any evil can prevail there.

This is where the Lord will begin to reveal to you secrets on how to go from one victory to another in the course of the year and if you miss the way He will instruct you on the right way to go. God is saying if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land this year. If you have lost some chances in the previous years, as you follow Him, He will cause you to find favor before men. This is when an individual is singled out for uncommon blessings in ways that beats the imagination of many. If you will walk with God, He will bring you to that place where which is seen as impossible begin to fall in place. In the eyes others such outrageous blessings on one individual makes it look like God is unfair but the truth is that favour is not fair.

Do not look at your present situation and calculate with your head. God has much more in store for you. When your senses cannot see how you qualify just let build up on the inside as you stretch your senses by the word of God. If you got a word form the Lord and are wondering if He will keep His word. He is saying to you today He has not forgotten you and He will bring His word to fruition. All He wants is for you to be patient as you walk with Him. You will be settled this year in Jesus name. Amen. From this moment, the glory and grace of God will make the difference for you in Jesus name. CONGRATULATIONS!

GOD HAS THE FINAL WORD

OCTOBER 16TH

TEXT: Ecclesiastes 3:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Life for many remains a great mystery that beats their imagination. There are persons who are under strong manipulations and they wonder why they cannot go beyond certain points in life no matter how hard they try. But the good news is that this is only an opinion not the final conclusion of the matter. When a man encounters the Lord he will begin to see that there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain. No situation or circumstance is strong enough to stand the glorious power in the name, the blood and the word of Jesus. Your condition can change if you will let Him step in. When the anointing comes the hopeless suddenly receives confidence to triumph in life. Suddenly divine light is given and this same soul becomes empowered to soar beyond every limitation of life.

You can make a lot of difference today if you will truly trust God from the depth of your heart. Ask the Lord to have His way today and always and you will begin to see His glory revealed like never before. Open up your heart to Jesus today, he is knocking at the door of your heart waiting to have full control so everything in your life will bow to his Lordship (Rev. 3:20). Those who enthrone the Lord over their lives have succeeded in dethroning every opposition to their destiny. Let Jesus be glorified.

LET GOD LEAD

OCTOBER 15TH

TEXT: Ecclesiastes 9:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Sometimes we act as though our failure or success is news to God. There is nothing about you that is a surprise to God. The Lord has a game plan for each of us, and wants to manifest His glory through us but He needs men who will give themselves and their will away. If you give Him everything, something great will happen to you this year.

What He has been trying to tell you all this while is to let Him run the show, he cannot do anything except you allow Him. Are there uncertainties that you have tried your best to figure how to navigate yourself out, but each time you try you end up being frustrated, just give it all to Him. Until He steps in, things will remain the same.

You really need His great and glorious presence to make the difference. You have tried but not much have changed. If you are desperate about it, know that God will certainly come through for you.

LIVE THE FAITH LIFE

OCTOBER. 14TH.

TEXT: James 2:17-18King James Version (KJV)

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Many of us are still wasting time struggling to prove our importance to men, but we are only wasting our time. To succeed in 2015, you have to make God your number one and only devotion. If you are willing to loose everything to gain God, you will end up gaining everything in God. There is a glory on your inside, something that is yet to manifest in full. But remember that its manifestation will take determination on your path for you to continue on the path of glory (James 2:17-18).

When you have God given dreams and visions that seem to have gone into oblivion, and you are wondering if God meant what He said. Do not quit because God means business and has not changed His mind concerning you. Be very expectant because He is about to do it shortly (Ecc. 3:11).

There is something beautiful about your life. God has concluded everything about you ever before you were born, He is just waiting for you to cooperate with Him for His plan to become a reality in your life. He has the master plan for you, all you have to do is humble yourself and obey His instructions. Your deeds and actions have to be in consonance with God’s instructions to you.

Acting by faith in obedience to the leading of God will get you results. Walking with God does not go with pretense or playing it safe, it requires risky faith. You cannot hold on to doubt and at the same time hold on to God (James 1:8).

We must learn to step out in faith by putting our faith to work. This is the only way you will know what way to go (Heb. 11:6). If you fail to work your faith, you cannot enter into Glory and Rest will be very far.

LET GO AND LET GOD

 OCTOBER. 13TH.

TEXT: Psalm 89:20King James Version (KJV)

20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

When we walked into this year, the Lord laid it in my heart to declare 2015 as the year of Glory and Rest. He made us see that as the glory of God increases in our lives, the quality of people it attracts to our lives will also increase (Ish. 60:3). This scripture made us see that Kings will come looking for you when the light on your inside shines brightly. As long as the light is covered or obscured your glory will not manifest. It is the manifest glory of God that gets the attention of Kings. That is why it speaks of them coming to the brightness of your rising. If you will stay with God succeeding in 2015 will be a process, and you have to stay with it, if you fail to follow through everything will be useless.

Beloved, 2015 belongs to those who will walk by faith (Heb. 3:19). There are very important things that need to come to pass in your life this year and they would not manifest without faith. The promises God has spoken to you cannot manifest without His involvement, they will fade away like a mirage. Faith in God is the title deed that will authorize you to operate successfully in 2015, that is why you cannot afford to risk walking by your senses. Let go and let God, then the glory will follow.

When we walk with the Lord, we do not need to struggle, because a life so closely knitted with God will always enjoy the backing of the Lord. (Psalm. 89:20). When the Lord fights for a man no enemy or foe will be able to recover from such defeat.

ACCESSING THE GLORY IS A CHOICE

OCTOBER 12TH

TEXT: Romans 12:1-3King James Version (KJV)

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Some people go after pleasures, others want to take a break from God, but in 2015, the glory and rest we speak of will only become a reality for you if Christ is involved in every aspect of your life.

Some of us have without wisdom decided to go after fleshy pleasures and have raised this above our hunger for God. If you cannot delay fleshy gratification, you will delay or even destroy your destiny. When you go after the flesh instead of that which is eternal you limit yourself to the effort of man. You must understand that following God requires all of you, it cannot be some of you or almost all of you. You either for God or not.

If you want to make it in 2015, you must make up your mind to serve Him with everything. We must all learn to make the right choices by delaying or denying our body of fleshy gratification. Speak to your flesh and command it to obey God. Learn to continually say “no” to the devil and yes to God.

If you cannot discipline your flesh, then something will certainly go wrong. Some people fall into sexual sin because they could not delay sexual gratification (Heb. 13:4).

Your determination to be consistently righteous is key to you succeeding in 2015. The devil comes to tempt you at the peak of your spirituality, so do not make the mistake to become proud at any spiritual feat. Learn to humble yourself under God’s mighty hand and in due season He will exalt you.

HYMN- PRAISE HIM! PRAISE HIM!

OCTOBER 11TH

Psalm 71:23; Hebrews 1:3- 8; 13:8; Revelation 1:5, 6; 5:11-14

I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. (Psalm 146:2)

Praise is our Lord’s most righteous due. It is not an opinion weather we will offer praise-it is one of God’s commands. Scriptures clearly teach that we are to offer sacrifice of praise to God continually (Hebrews 13:15, 16). Our daily sacrifice of praise should include joyful songs for who Christ is-“our blessed redeemer”. Then we need to praise God for all of His daily blessings, which are beyond number. We should offer praise even for the trials of life for they are often blessings in disguise. Finally, our sacrifice should include praise for His leading in ways yet to be experienced.

This is another of the many favorite gospel hymns written by Fanny Crosby, blind American poetess. In all she wrote between 8,000 and 9,000 gospel hymn texts and supplied our hymnals with more beloved hymns that are still sung today than any other writer.
“Praise Him! Praise Him!” Jesus, our blessed Redeemer! Sing, O earth, His wonderful love proclaim! Hail Him! Hail Him! highest archangels in glory; strength and honor give to His holy name! Like a shepherd Jesus will guard His children. In His arms, He carries them all day long:

Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus , our blessed Redeemer! For our sins He suffered, and bled and died; He, our Rock, our hope of eternal salvation, Hail Him! Hail Him! Jesus the crucified. Sound His praises! Jesus who bore our sorrows; love unbounded, wonderful, deep and strong:

Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer! Heavenly portals loud with hosannas ring. Jesus, Savior, reigneth forever and ever; Crown Him! Crown Him! over the world victorious, pow’r and glory unto the Lord belong. TAKEN FROM “AMAZING GRACE; 366 INSPIRING HYMN STORIES FOR DAILY DEVOTION”

DENOMINATIONAL AFFILIATION IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH

OCTOBER 10TH

1 Corinthians 3:1-6Amplified Bible (AMP)
Foundations for Living
3 However, brothers and sisters, I could not talk to you as to spiritual people, but [only] as to [a]worldly people [dominated by human nature], mere infants [in the new life] in Christ!

I fed you with milk, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Even now you are still not ready.

You are still [b]worldly [controlled by ordinary impulses, the sinful capacity]. For as long as there is jealousy and strife and discord among you, are you not [c]unspiritual, and are you not walking like ordinary men [unchanged by faith]?

For when one of you says, “I am [a disciple] of Paul,” and another, “I am [a disciple] of Apollos,” are you not [proving yourselves unchanged, just] ordinary people?

What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Just servants through whom you believed [in Christ], even as the Lord appointed to each his task.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was causing the growth.

When I got saved, my friends were wondering why I was still worshipping in a particular denomination that they term “orthodox” even though it was not.  They supported their position by quoting the scripture “come out from among them”. So, I went seeking the face of the Lord to know where and what He wanted me to do about where to worship. The Lord told spoke to my heart to remain in that church. He made me to see that there is work He has designed for me there. He told me if I would open my heart, I would hear Him.

Our God will not use you because you attend a particular church, but His glory can be accessed by anyone hungry enough for Him. So many times, we claim to be seeking God but not many of us are hungry enough to put a demand on the anointing. The woman with the issue of blood was able to put a demand on Jesus’ anointing because she was determined to, even though she was not on His agenda. When we come into God’s presence it is up to us to put a demand on the anointing, when we do, then we can breakthrough. 2015 is not for weaklings, but for those who are desperate to hear from God and are ready to go the extra mile.

The Holy Spirit wants to be involved in our everyday life. You cannot afford to exclude the Holy Spirit from any aspect of your life and expect to make it. He have to be actively involved in all areas. Christians get holy on Sunday morning but as soon as we leave church, many are just like any other person. You do not want to have a form of godliness but a real walk with God. Jesus must have 100% or nothing (Deut. 6:5). Love must rule in your heart also, not our idea of spirituality.

REMINISCENCE ON EARLY DECLARATIONS ABOUT 2015 (PART 6)

OCTOBER 9TH

TEXT: Isaiah 60:1-31, 2 Cor. 4:17King James Version (KJV)

60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

2 Corinthians 4:17King James Version (KJV)

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

In 2015, if you do not know how to hear God for yourself, you will miss the way again and again. Hearing from God has nothing to do with your title or position. Recently, I was watching a video on the Evans Roberts revival in Wales, there was such massive move of the Spirit but one glorious thing with it is the fact that nobody came to his meetings looking for titles or the man of the hour. Everybody came trusting God to move and be glorified. You will never find God’s leading if your expectation is on people with titles or positions. If you are like this you will miss Him.

Familiarity and favoritism have destroyed a lot of people’s walk with God. You can get so familiar with people and miss God. Some have looked at speaker’s titles and position and have missed God when He spoke.

The Lord gave me a vision not too long ago, I was in church and during the offering time, God came in to meet with His people. A woman saw the Angel of the Lord and she became frightened in reverential awe of Him. It became obvious to me that because some of us expect God to move only at a certain time in the worship service we miss Him. God is the one who decides the high point of any service, He is not a man that can be boxed or predicted. You cannot come to a meeting selecting whose face you want to see or whose voice you want to hear, if you do, you will kill your faith and cut short his flow in your life. Go beyond the looks and every other thing, come to His presence with expectation and you will find Him and the glory.” Shalom!

REMINISCENCE ON EARLY DECLARATIONS ABOUT 2015 (PART 5)

OCTOBER 8TH

TEXT: Isaiah 60:1-31, 2 Cor. 4:17King James Version (KJV)

60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

2 Corinthians 4:17King James Version (KJV)

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Let’s go back once more to the message from the mid-year retreat. Here we go;

“There is a divine exchange taking place in your life right now. God is taking away whatever will not allow His glory to be made manifest in your life and He is exchanging it for His glory. That which has held you back is being separated from you now. It is being torn out of the way so that the glory God has for your life can be seen.

One of the factors that can hinder God’s glory in our lives is unconfessed sin. You cannot continue in sin, or conceal your sin, because it will conceal the glory of God upon your life.

The presence of the Lord is with you, He is your redeemer. And as your redeemer, He buys back whatever you lost, restoring you to your original state. You will see it being restored physically before this month is over in Jesus name. Amen.

Another factor that can veil the glory is the way we relate with the people God placed in our lives to bless us. If you have offended anyone, you have to go and apologize and restitute.

God can transform your destiny and give you a divine exchange, greater than anything you can ever imagine. Just the way a computer’s hard drive can be upgraded from a 2G to a 4G, God is able to upgrade your destiny. He will deliver you from the yoke that has limited you from entering into your destiny. Position yourself for Him to clothe you in glory. A divine exchange is taking place in your life, and His glory is about to be revealed in your life like never before.” May this be your portion in Jesus name. Amen.

REMINISCENCE ON EARLY DECLARATIONS ABOUT 2015 (PART 4)

OCTOBER. 7TH.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
During our mid-year retreat, the Lord laid it in my heart to share the following with those present and I feel it is important that we be reminded of it so we don’t miss out on God’s agenda. “The Holy Spirit laid it in my heart to say that there is a call for each of us this year 2015. It is a call to step out from that which veils the glory.

What will make the difference for you this year is your decision to step out of the norm; that life that you have been used to. Those who are willing to say Lord, do with me what you want, will walk in this glory, but those who are not ready to give up that which veils the glory of God in their lives will stumble in the dark. There are certain dimensions of glory you cannot access until you make up your mind to take the need to seek God as your priority. The glory in your life that has been concealed, can only be unveiled when you go after God with your whole heart.

The degree of glory you walk in, is determined by how much of your life you yield to God. If you give Him 30%, you will walk in 30% manifestation, if you give Him 70%, you will walk in the equal measure of glory. There are dimensions of glory that are about to be revealed and within this month strange testimonies will be yours, as long as you make the decision that will lead to your upgrade. Pray that the Lord will rise up and take His place in your life. As you do, He will cause you to walk in higher dimensions of His glory.” Take a serious decision today.

REMINISCENCE ON EARLY DECLARATIONS ABOUT 2015 (PART 3)

 OCTOBER 6TH.

TEXT: Isaiah 60:1-3, Cor. 9:25-27King James Version (KJV)

1 Corinthians 9:25-27King James Version (KJV)

25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Today, we continue with part three of early declaration laid in my heart before the dawn of 2015. “If you want rest in 2015, you will have to enter into the realm of the Spirit and stay in the glory of God. To cross into the realm of the Spirit, you have to break the barrier of the flesh. Stop pampering your flesh. If you feed the flesh, it will hinder the growth of your spirit man. The glory and rest in 2015 does not belong to weaklings, there are sacrifices, commitments and discipline to be made. You have to get out of the flesh realm and enter into the spirit realm. If you desire to walk from one dimension of glory to the other, your relationship with God will not be based on convenience. It will bring inconveniences to the flesh, till you get to a point where nothing else really matters but God.

There is a price to pay for the glory to manifest in your life. Salvation is free but the anointing is expensive. There is something God has in store for you and doors He wants to open for you, but they belong to those who have their senses exercised to discern good and evil (Heb. 5:14). You do not move by what you see or hear but by the leading of God.

If you are deficient in God’s word, you cannot know His will, because His will is His word and His word is His will. But if you have an intimate walk with Him, it would not be a problem to know His will, it becomes a reality. When you spend time with Him and dine in His word, you will enter into His rest.” Are you where God intend for you to be in 2015? Where art thou?.

MONDAY'S LIVE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE WITH REV IGHO L.Y.

REMINISCENCE ON EARLY DECLARATIONS ABOUT 2015 (PART 2)

 OCTOBER. 5TH.

TEXT: Isaiah 60:1-3King James Version (KJV)

60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Today we continue on the early declarations about 2015. Meditate on this and see how far we have fared.

“2015 is not a mystery to God. He is looking for those who can sense what He is about to do. Those who can, will definitely not go down but will rise up. Once you can sense what God is about to do and align with it, you are bound to succeed. This was how Jesus succeeded in His ministry, He said it is what I see my Father do that I do. Do not ever take your eyes away from Jesus, do not take an holiday from God (Heb. 12:2). Not many are sensitive enough because some of us are so busy with other irrelevant activities. You must be like a dry sponge that can soak in any amount of water poured on it. You cannot experience glory and rest without faith, as many who will walk in faith will see its manifestation (Glory and Rest).

You must get to the point where you realize that there is a higher glory. Do not toy with this, because you may be toying with your destiny. Hold on steadfastly to Jesus and run the race to the very end. There are certain paths that have been carved out for each one of us, some people may have to run for days, others for weeks, some others for months. If you can stay steadfast, God will bring you to the very end and by His grace. He will bring you there in Jesus name.

Do not stop half way of your journey. One thing you are not expected to do is to stop and turn away from the path, you are expected to stay faithful to the end.” If you have been in tune with God your celebration is sure. Hold on to the Lord and see His glory bring you true rest from all trouble.

PRAISE, MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN

OCTOBER. 4TH.

Hymn: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13; Psalm 47:6, 7; 103; 1 Timothy 1:17

Praise the Lord, all His works everywhere in His dominion. Praise the Lord, 0 my soul (Psalm103:22)

A life of praise and an inner joy and contentment are interwoven-they are complements of each other. Such a life is the result of being absorbed with God. For such an individual the pursuit of God’s glory, the Lordship of Christ, and the worship and praise of our Creator-redeemer become a natural way of living. To this person the blessings of God never become commonplace.

Forgives all our iniquities; heals our diseases, redeems our life from destruction; crowns us with loving kindness and mercy; satisfies us with good things; renews our youth, works righteousness and judgment for the oppressed; gives guidance to His people; is merciful is gracious and slow to anger while plenteous in mercy: knows all about us; will never forsake. (psalm103:3-10)

Although Henry Lyte, the author of this hymn text, experienced many difficulties in life, including a frail body, this hymn helps us to realize that we as believers can rise above our problems and lift voices of praise in spite of any circumstances. The text is a summary of the psalmist’s admonition in Psalms 103 to praise and to remember all of the good things about God. It first appeared in Lyte’s collection of new paraphrases of the Psalms, published in 1834. Interestingly, the hymn has the distinction of being the requested processional for the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminister Abbey on November 20, 1947, exactly 100 years after author Henry Lyte’s death

Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;

to His feet thy tribute bring; ransomed,
healed, restored, forgiven, evermore His praises sing:
Alleluia! Praise the Everlasting king!

Father-like, He tends and spares us,

well our feeble frame He knows;
in His hands He bears us, rescues us from all our foes:
Alleluia! Praise with us the God of grace.

REMINISCENCE ON EARLY DECLARATIONS ABOUT 2015 (PART 1)

OCTOBER. 3RD.

The Spirit of the Lord specializes on how to use natural things to call our attention to things happening in the realm of the spirit. Before such things take place in the physical, they have already begun in the realm of the spirit. The supernatural rules the natural, so those who walk in the supernatural rule over the natural. If you do not have understanding and access into the realm of the spirit, you will be a victim and a prey in the natural.

Beginning from 2015, Ish, 60:1-3, will become a reality in the lives of those who trust God. There is something new coming to you in 2015. May be you have gone through all kinds of depressing and frustrating situations that have left you prostrate, but something is coming that will cause you to arise and shine.

In 2015, there will be darkness all over the earth like never before, Nations will be confused, but the answer will lie in the hands of the children of God as they arise and shine. There will be such manifestation of God that will pull Nations to you and the work He has placed in your hands. The glory will become so visible in your life and all eyes will see it. As you shine, your light goes from “this little light of mine” to a great light that attracts Kings. Kings speak of people who have control and authority. You may not look like you are anything now but if you will keep rising and shinning Kings shall come to you. Kings do not come to those with fluctuating light, they come to the brightness of those who are standing faithfully. Stand in the glory and your light shall become great. STAND.
