ATTENTIVE TO DIVINE GUIDANCE (PART 4.)

DECEMBER  5TH

TEXT: Psalm 46:1-10King James Version (KJV)

46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

There are laws that have been put in place by God to activate certain blessings in life irrespective of who it is that is involved. There are certain principles spelt out in the scriptures that many Christians have failed to acknowledge, and so they suffer and wonder why their prayers have not been answered. Below you can find part of that which I shared during one of our meetings in Glorious Fountain Ministries.

"If you do not know how to take care of that which belongs to somebody else, even what is yours would not be given to you. But he who is faithful over little, will have more added to him. So, use the little opportunity you have and do your very best with it.

When you know and understand the principles that are written in the Bible, you will understand that things operate by laws, principles and order. Many of us miss these principles by focusing on religions and traditions. For instance, the Bible says give and it shall be given unto you. We are not told exactly what to give, so you can give your time, money, service, energy, etc, and it shall be given unto you, more than you gave.

Jesus told us not to worry about what to eat, wear or live, for our heavenly Father knows we have need of them. When you give attention to God's work, He will not let you get stranded, but will always meet your need, for He is a present help in times of need (Psalm 45:1-2) You cannot serve God and loose. You do not need to do anything shady to get blessed." Just let Him lead and all will be well.
