ATTITUDE FOR DIVINE BLISS (PART 4).

MAR. 18TH

TEXT: Psalm 105:17-22 (JPS Tanakh version)
17.    He sent a man before them;
Joseph was sold for a servant;
18.    His feet they hurt with fetters,
His person was laid in iron;
19.    Until the time that his word came to pass,
The word of the LORD tested him.
20.    The king sent and loosed him;
Even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
21.    He made him lord of his house,
And ruler of all his possessions;
22.    To bind his princes at his pleasure,
And teach his elders wisdom.

When the hand of God is upon the life of a man, He has the power to raise him from the dust to the throne. Don’t be quick to give up on your dreams. God is able to turn your present ugly situation in your favour.
The above scripture tells us of the man Joseph, who was taken into Egypt as a slave, but was able to rise to the highest place of honour in Egypt as the second in command. His authority and power was so great that the Scriptures says he was able to bind the princes of Egypt at his will because he constantly reverenced God. This tells us of the authority that Joseph had and what he did. He did not focus on the fact that he was a slave, sold into slavery by his own family, instead, he continued to serve God.
Like Joseph, you may not be in a place where you are seen as somebody important, but it is only a matter of time. In the fullness of time, you will walk in so much authority that you will be able to bind princes at your will. Joseph was able to give the interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream, which no astrologer could give, and so when he spoke, they listened to him.
Sometimes, some of the problem you thought came to destroy you were actually designed to bring you out of obscurity to the place of prominence. Whatever ugly situation you may be going through right now is only a phase, it is not permanent. So don’t give up now because there is something glorious ahead of you. Just prepare your heart so God can lead you into your moment of glory.
