UNDER GOD’S GLORY (PART 1).

MAR. 21ST.

TEXT: Psalm 117King James Version (KJV)
1.   O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2.    For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.

The greatest blessing you can have in life is the presence of God. A life without the presence of God is an expensive risk. When a people or nation is blessed with the presence of God, they dwell on high. It is impossible to walk with the Most High and be a nonentity.
When you have Him you have everything.
This is one reason why the nation of Israel remains a wonder to many other nations of the world. The reason is not difficult to find. They believe that they are a nation raised up by God himself and that they are the people of God. For many generations they have remained a wonder to many due to the great things they are able to accomplish with very little or nothing. Many of the time, against all odds, they have been able to overcome bigger and more powerful nations in circumstances that reveals a divine covering over them.
Another nation that once acknowledged God as their covering is America. At their beginning, they so depended on God that He was acknowledged in every part of their life and government. God was everywhere. In their pledge, they openly acknowledged that they are “One nation under God” and that led to the glorious years of the country which became the Promised Land to many. But when they began to depart from their dependence on God, and even went as far as fighting against God being mentioned in the various aspects of their lives and government, things began to turn upside down.
It is a great mistake for anybody or group of people to become too confident of themselves to the point that they begin to act like they don’t need God. This is often the reason why many great nations and individuals fall from grace to grass.
If you don’t want to live in disgrace, then keep your life under the grace and covering of God.
