LIVING IN POWER AND GLORY (PART 3)

MAY 26TH

Text: Romans 8:25-27 King James Version (KJV)
25. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Beloved, I want to welcome you today to an access to power and endless possibilities. God has much more for you than you can ever imagine. You are not an unfortunate being. You are the plan and purpose of your heavenly Father and if you will take time to seek his face always in prayer, He will empower you with power and glory to excel in life. Prayer is not meant to be an option in the life of any man, it is a serious necessity because it is the place of divine empowerment. That is the reason why it is a struggle for many to pray. Even for a serious Christian, the flesh does not want us to pray but the Lord has given us a way out. The word of God in Rom. 8 tells us that “the Spirit helps our infirmities, our weakness, inadequacies or unwillingness to pray. Whenever we let the Lord help us, we are plugged into power and in no distant time everything about us will reveal the glory of God.Only people who walk in power and glory can positively impact our world.

In Acts 3, the crippled man who was carried to the entrance of the temple everyday had one encounter with Peter and John and his life was never the same again. Before this encounter, he was cut off from the divine fellowship taking place in the temple but after this encounter, he led a worship session that ushered others to the salvation of their souls.  Once he met the Lord, his priority changed. He was no longer interested in charitable alms for his life has completely changed.

There are still many people who have the give-me, bless-me mentality. They see prayer as give-me, bless me because we are spiritually crippled and do not truly know God therefore they are unable to enter into the realm of the Spirit. Get out of the flesh realm today and you will see the power and glory of God become a glorious reality in your life. Shalom!
