INVOKING GOD’S GLORY AND REHEARSING HIS WONDERS (PART 2) JULY 21ST.
TEXT: Psalm. 75:1, 6-8. (KJV)
75 Unto thee, O God, do we give
thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous
works declare.
6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor
from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is
red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs
thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
According to today’s scriptures, when you sing God’s praise,
and invoke His name, you rehearse His wonders. Find some quality time to
worship Him with a sincere heart and lifted hands and I tell you, it will
position you to experience heavenly visitations.
Refuse to be moved by all kinds of distractions. You must
learn how to stay in the place where your heart is focused on Him. Never get to
a place where you no longer say the name of Jesus with intimacy and hunger for
more of Him. When you have a lively and intimate relationship with Him, that
name becomes so precious to you. This is when He begins to transform you from
the inside. There is nothing like being in the presence of the Lord. If there
is anything you seek for, let it be His presence and manifestation in your
life.
You need to spend quality time loving God, and as you are
worshiping Him, He will handle your enemies. As you worship Him, his glory and
power shows up, for the Bible says the light shines in the darkness and the
darkness cannot comprehend it. Be flooded with the light of God and every
darkness will flee from you.
If you have the privilege of serving God, hold tight to it
and see to it that no one takes your crown. If He ever considered you worthy
for the lest of service, be faithful, because He will not reward you for
nothing, He rewards our labor of love. Beloved, this year, do not let any man
take your place.
