TEXT : Job 32:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 But there is a
spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
A careful
study of history will reveal to you that most of the scientists and inventors
who propounded theories that has contributed to massive transformation were
Christians. In their walk with God they were divinely inspired to see what
others could not. Skill is good, but divine inspiration is better. If you have
a lively and intimate relationship with the Lord, you cannot run out of ideas,
rather you would be struggling with keeping up and executing your ideas.
If you
find yourself not having any inspiration or lacking ideas, it is possible there
is something wrong with your relationship with God and as soon as you fix it,
you will get back on course.
Sometimes,
lack of inspiration may be from the fact that you have not finished your
previous assignment from God. Of what use is it for you to be given a new
instruction when you have not delivered on the previous one. The Lord once
said, “He that is faithful over little more shall be added”.
Once you
experience something like this, go back to the last instruction God gave you,
and see if you completely obeyed it. Many of the time, not completing your God
given assignment can cut off the flow of divine instructions from your life. If
you fail to follow simple instructions, the Lord will not see the need to give
you new ones. He would wait for you to obey first, before He would speak
further.
The vision
of God is with an open end, He reveals one step at a time, He would not tell
you everything at once. It is when you obey Him in step one, that He will
reveal to you step two. A lot of people do not want to do this, and as long as
you are not waiting for Him and following His instructions, you are not going to
go beyond where you are.
When
someone only make reference to when God use to speak to him, He is simply
admitting that He is no longer in sync with God in his personal relationship
with God.
If you
really want to excel in life, then grow your personal relationship with God
daily.
