21ST MARCH
MEMORY VERSE: Rom 12: 1
(I beseech you therefore, brethren, by
the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.)
TEXT: John 12:24-25
24,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and
die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25, He that loveth his life shall lose it;
and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
It’s required that we lay down our
gifts or talents before the Lord for them to be useful in His service. God
cannot be glorified by that which we refuse to lay down before him. Abandon
your life, your cares and gifts to Him and you will be amazed at what He will
do with you. He is able to cause you to boom and blossom like Aaron’s rod (see
Num 17:7-8).
Until a vessel is empty and made
available to be filled, it cannot be filled. Until we are desperately hungry
for the presence of God and surrender for Him to when we lay down everything
that would have taken His place in our lives, we will never experience the
manifest glory of God.
ACTION POINT
As we willingly decrease for Him to
increase, surrender from our heart to the Lord becomes a reality and we simply
want to live for His glory.
