27TH MARCH
MEMORY VERSE: Rom 12: 1
(I beseech you therefore, brethren, by
the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.)
TEXT: John 12:24-25
24,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and
die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25, He that loveth his life shall lose it;
and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Since we are the vessels that God use
to enhance worship, if the vessel is defiled, the worship becomes defiled. So
there is the absolute necessity for each one of us to surrender our lives to
Him.
The importance of holiness in our
worship experience cannot be over emphasized. Holiness is an attribute of God,
it is a nature of God and He expects us to live a holy life. When we come
before the Lord with filthy hands, that kind of worship will not be acceptable
to God. The way we live our life matters to God. God wants to use and
consecrate any life, no matter your standing or position. There is a call to
holiness, to a deeper hunger and passion for God. If we are ever going to see
the move God in our time like we’ve read in the scriptures and learnt from
history of the past, then we will need to get beyond the surface thing; we will
need to go very deep with God.
ACTION POINT
There is no limit to who God can use to
bring glory to His name. He is looking for who to use today. Would that be me
or you?
