POWER AND GLORY (PART 2).

 JANUARY  6TH.

TEXT: Psalm 110:1-3King James Version (KJV)

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

It became clear from verse one of our text that there are steps to follow for anyone to be able to walk in power and glory. It is not enough to sit down, it is very important to be sure you are positioned at His right hand, which is symbolic of the place of power and divine favor (see Psalm 16:11). When we are under the shadow of the Almighty God, we are there impacted with the anointing that flows from His presence. As we get clothed with that anointing, we become anointed and this is where real power and glory follow our lives.  It is only when you have gotten to this place that your enemies easily become your footstool. What do you mean? Someone may want to ask. Each time we grow spiritually by reason of drawing closer to God, we are lifted to a higher realm of glory and as we get continually lifted, we get to that point where we are so anointed above the principalities that are contending with us. That is when they become our footstool. If you must become and stay relevant this year, then you must find some time to soak yourself in the presence of the Lord. Until you do this, you cannot truly experience power and glory.
