POWER AND GLORY (PART 5)

JANUARY  9TH.

TEXT: Psalm 110:1-3King James Version (KJV)

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The battles of life are just too unpredictable for any man to live life by his or her senses. God intend for everyone to be great in life but there are too many contentions over your crown (destiny). Many who were destined to reign in life became careless and as they lose relevance, right before their eyes some other persons rose up to fulfil that which they once hoped for. May that not be your portion this year. As you work for and walk with the Lord, no one will take your place of destiny in Jesus name. The best way to ensure you do not miss it is for you to sit down under the shadow of the Almighty. Stay in the presence of God.
If you do not have a glorious destiny, then the enemy has nothing to contend with in your life. But because your destiny is glorious that is why sometimes things happen in the way that you do not understand. This is the reason why you cannot be careless or prayerless. Even when you are trying to live right, there will be some funny things that will be unfolding but if you are sensitive enough you will put them where they belong.
When you are trying your very best to see that the name of the Lord is exalted, that is when it seem as if your efforts are in vain and as though those who do not fear God are prospering.

In no way should we compare ourselves to them, because all they have is down here on earth and there is no guaranty for their tomorrow. But we belong to something that is beyond the earthly realm, we walk in a strong confidence for now, tomorrow and eternity.  The moment you give your life to Christ; you walk into a different Kingdom that is why Col. 1:13 says He has translated us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear son. This is where we are destined to reign in power and glory. Glory to God!
