POWER AND GLORY (PART 4)

 JANUARY 8TH.

TEXT: Psalm 110:1-3King James Version (KJV).

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

A careful study of verse three reveals to us something outstanding. Until we learn to sit down soaking into the presence of God, we will not get to the place where people will identify with the hand of God upon your life.  This verse tells us that people will become willing in the day of your power. Until you have power with God you cannot have power with man. It is the power with God that activates your power with man. But the glorious thing in all of this is that this power comes from the beauty of holiness. And a careful observation will reveal to you that this power that flows from the beauty of holiness actually comes from your spiritual activities early in the morning, early in the year, early in your life. That is why it is captured as “out of the womb of the morning”. If your fellowship with God dominates your activities each day or early in your life, you will get to the place where people will be too willing to identify with what God is doing through you.  Wherever you find people giving themselves to any course, there is a compelling power and glory at work. Until we are able to walk in power and glory, we will not be able to have people passionate about our work. Do something tangle with your life today.
